What is the purpose of the Land Registry?

The Land Registry is a web interface designed to track land data as it is submitted for standardization in the RPSDW. The registry contains spatially accurate data representing DND cadastre, property records, and easements. Since many CAF Bases and Wings border municipal or other government jurisdictions and share critical infrastructure services across boundaries, DND Real Property needs to provide up-to-date cadastre survey control based on provincial and federal survey control network standards. Access to registry data allows for development planning and supports operational and maintenance activities as well as design and construction.
